als Grundlage für diese Michaelis-Musik, die erstmals zu Michaelis 1778 in Hamburg erklang, diente Michaels Sieg „Wie wird uns werden“ (an Michaelis 1771 von C. P. E. Bach erstmals aufgeführt) von J. C. F. Bach (→ BR-JCFB F 4): Die Sätze 1, 2 u. 4 übernahm C. P. E. Bach weitestgehend aus dieser Michaelis-Musik, fügte in den Sätze 1 u. 2 Trompeten und Pauken hinzu. Satz 3 stellt eine Neukomposition von C. P. E. Bach dar (jedoch eng an Satz 2 „Welch ein Gesicht“ der Vorlage angelehnt). Wiederaufgeführt wurde sie als Michaelis-Musik 1784. Die Sätze 1, 5 u. 7 verwendete C. P. E. Bach in seiner Michaelis-Musik „Der Frevler will die Wahrheit schmähn“, BR-CPEB Fp 22 (Satz 1, 5 u. 6b).
