• die Quartalsmusik erklang erstmals an Michaelis 1775 in Hamburg. – Miesner 1929, S. 80, wies die Kantate fälschlicherweise auch als Michaelismusik 1773 aus. – Wiederaufführungen zu Michaelis fanden 1779, 1783 und 1788 statt. Zumindest 1788 wurde, wie dem Titelumschlag von D-Bsa SA 25 zu entnehmen ist, eine neue Version mit zwei, von C. P. E. Bach für das Hamburger Gesangbuch 1787 neu komponierten Chorälen, gespielt (BR-CPEB Fs 20.2). – Eventuell hatte C. P. E. Bach diesen neuen Schlusschoral mit anderen Strophen (1. „Gott ist mein Lied“, 2. „Er will und sprichts,“ evtl. 8. „Er kennt mein Flehn“) im Rahmen der bislang noch unbekannten Michaelis-Musik 1787 aufgeführt.
