First performance on September 29, 1724; subsequent performance around 1735 (autograph supplement sheets: handwriting styles and watermark) with changes in instrumentation in movement 3 (Violin I/II and Viola instead of Trumpet I–III); possibly after the death of the town piper G. Reiche (October 6, 1734). Three movements of this version were incorporated into the Pasticcio version, see BWV 130.2.
