Movement 11 is a chorale setting by C. Peter (Freiberg 1652) in the Vopelius hymnbook of 1682, page 70. Further performance after 1750 by W. F. Bach in Halle (text print in D-HAu, only the first part; annotations by W. F. Bach in the autograph score and revisions of the original parts)

Die erste Aufführung dieser Kantate fand im Frühgottesdienst der Nikolaikirche mit Predigt von Salomon Deyling, und am gleichen Tag im Vespergottesdienst der Thomaskirche statt, hier vermutlich mit Predigt von Urban Gottfried Sieber.
