Bemerkungen:
Inhalt: Vollständiger Evangelientext, betrachtende Arien und Chöre nur unvollständig, die Nummern vor und nach dem Evangeliumstext fehlen;
Beträchtliche Teile der Partitur wurden offenbar bei Erstellung der Passionskantate Wq 233 aus der Partitur herausgetrennt und sind heute verloren. Im NV 1790 heißt es: "Aus dieser Paßion ist, nach Weglassung des Evangelisten und verschiedenen gemachten Veränderungen, die Paßions-Cantate entstanden".
Die Partitur enthält noch die Sätze 3–5a, 5c, 6 (T. 1–21 und 81–104), 7–11, 12 (T. 1–9), 13, 14 (T. 54b–67), 15, 16, 17 (T. 1–10 und 267–286), 18–20, 22 (T. 217–223), 23c, 24, 25a–e, 26c (T. 181–191) und 27;
Ursprüngliche Tintenpaginierung: S. 13-16, 21-32, 37-38, (andere Schrift) 43-46, 73-78, [79-80], 81-82, 109-120, 137-140; Bleifoliierung: Blatt 1-24; Bleipaginierung: S. 1-[48];
