Eine teilautographe Partitur der erneuerten Fassung befand sich in J. S. Bachs Notenbibliothek (s. BWV Suppl 2, S. 664). Beleg dafür ist der Titel zur Sonate in B-Bc: 27911 MSM, der von J. S. Bachs Hand (ca. vor 1744) stammt. Verzierungen (in Satz 2) und wenige Notenkorrekturen durch J. S. Bach ergänzt.
