• Canon is a dedication entry in the (completely preserved) family register for Johann Gottfried Fulde; was taken from BWV 1087/11.Together with Johann Christoph Altnickol and Benjamin Gottlieb Faber (see BWV 1078), Fulde was a “Choralist” at St. Maria Magdalenen in Breslau, came to Leipzig in 1743 and studied theology here.
