wahrscheinlich vor dem 17. September 1730
Presumably created as a concert piece. The liturgical first performance likely took place on September 17, 1730, as evidenced by the watermark of the original sources. There was a subsequent performance after 1730 on the occasion of a council election or homage, with reworked individual lines of text. A further performance after 1750 was conducted by W. F. Bach in Halle in a revised format, with the addition of Tromba II/Timpani in the 1st and 4th movement
