• Canon with F – A – B – E, most likely dedicated to the student Benjamin Gottlieb Faber (see Wiermann BJ 2003). On the Breslau medical student at Leipzig University see BWV 1077. Original sources are not passed down. The missing autograph family register entry after the transcript by Johann Philipp Kirnberger is dated on 1 March 1749: <i>Fa Mi, et Mi Fa est tota Musica</i> | [followed by 4-tone-score with inscription <i>F – A – B – E Repetatur</i>] | <i>Canon super Fa Mi, a 7 – post Tempus musicum.</i> [followed by canon in riddle form] | <i>Domine Possessor | <b>F</b>idelio <b>A</b>mici <b>B</b>eatum <b>E</b>sse <b>R</b>ecordari, | tibi hanc ignotum: itaque | <b>B</b>onæ <b>A</b>rtis <b>C</b>ultorem <b>H</b>abeas | verum am<b>I</b>cum <b>T</b>uum.</i> [links:] <i>Lipsiæ d. 1 Martii | 1749.</i> (see Dok.
