EZ unknown; earliest source ca. 1738‒1741. Arrangement based on an unknown concerto (by Bach?), perhaps a concerto for 3 violins in D major, see BWV2 1064R (NBA VII/7 (Supplement)). Also tradition in D major, see Sources (version probably not authentic).
