Comments:

nachkomponierter Eingangssatz des Gloria von 1758 (mit diesem Satz auch überliefert in CH-E 388,1); s. D-Hs ND VI 540 (3), Nr. 3, dort ohne Satz 1; Trennung der eigentlich zusammengehörenden Quelle durch E. J. Greenland, daher die Vermutung, dass Bach einen ursprünglichen (nicht erhaltenen) Kopfsatz nachträglich 1759 durch dieses Gloria ausgetauscht hat (vgl. Roe BJ 2001, S. 149)
