Entwurf zu Satz 1, fol. 7v, Zeile 10-19, Takt 1-7 (auf dem Kopf stehend, gestrichen):
Entwurf für einen Eingangschor, erschließbare Besetzung: 2 Bläser (vermutl. Ob.I+II), V. I+II, Va., Sopr., Alt, Ten., Bass, Bc. Nur Übernahme der Tonart C-Dur in die endgültige Komposition BWV 76/1; Motiv der Oberstimme findet sich in ähnlicher Form im Eingangschor der Trauungskantate "Dem Gerechten muss das Licht" (BWV 195).

Entwurf zu Satz 7, fol. 10r, Zeile 15-19, Takt 1-5 (gestrichen):
Entwurf für den Choral zum Abschluss des ersten Teils. Die Schlüsselung legt nahe, dass Bach zunächst ein mindestens vier Takte langes Instrumentalvorspiel plante (wohl in Anlehnung an BWV 75/7), jedoch bereits während der Ausarbeitung des Entwurfs den Einsatz des Soprans in T.3 festlegte.
