On November 17, 2025, two chaconnes were presented in St. Thomas (Leipzig) that are now considered to be works by Johann Sebastian Bach from his time in Arnstadt. Peter Wollny made this attribution based on the identification of the writer (Salomon Günther John, a student of Bach in Arnstadt) and the distinctive style.
